   "Commercial and private presses that print and/or publish work of intrinsic quality commonly fall into the category 'fine press'. The Primrose Academy would fall into the 'commercial category', because we outsourced all aspects of the production and publishing operations.

   Our task was to choose what to publish, undertake all relations with everyone connected with publication, and do our best to market the books. Why we chose to undertake this exercise in 1994, on top of a busy academic ad professional life, is the story to which this article is devoted..."
